Q: How did you get into market research recruiting?
A: A friend introduced me to the recruiting field. Initially, I did not know what to expect, but I took the leap and discovered it is really about connecting with people and being authentic. I love finding individuals who are eager to share their perspectives and make a difference.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your work at Ridgeline Recruiting?
A: Every project is unique, and I enjoy the challenge of finding the right people who want to share their insights. Working with a very talented team and seeing how our efforts positively impact people's lives is extremely rewarding.
Q: What question(s) are you asked most often during the recruitment/research process?
A: Most people want to know what the project is about. Candidates want to feel like they are contributing to something important. Although I cannot disclose what the project is about because we do not want to predispose their thought process, I can share with them the value of their participation.
Q: If you were a research participant, what would you think of the experience?
A: I would want the experience to be engaging and meaningful, with clear communication about the purpose of the study and how my input would contribute to the research is important. I would want to feel that my time and opinions are valued and that my contributions will lead to positive change.
Q: What advice would you have for someone participating in a research study?
A: I encourage participants to share their honest thoughts and remain open to others' opinions. If you are unsure about something, ask for clarification. Take notes, actively engage, and give thoughtful responses. Provide constructive feedback throughout, and remember your perspective is both valuable and unique. We also welcome insights into the process itself so we can improve in the future.
Q: Would you like to share any memories and/or achievements?
A: One memorable experience involved a candidate who was going through a challenging time in their life. I was able to connect with them, which was a significant highlight for me. We were then able to discuss the project and the fulfillment that comes from being part of it.
Typically, our team faces tight timelines, and yet we always manage to meet them. It is challenging when I am solely responsible, but finding the right people for the success of the project is so rewarding. I take great satisfaction when the client is impressed with how engaged the participants are and the feedback they provide. I truly love my job and the amazing people I get to work with!
